Yang In Mo also won the Prize in memory of Mario Ruminelli, offered by Ruminelli's family (1.600€).
Guided by the artistic direction of the Maestro Fabio Luisi, returns the International Violin Competition named after the virtuouso Niccolò Paganini. An homage paid from the City of Genoa to its famous citizen, the Premio Paganini is at its 54th edition.
After having graduated extraordinary violinists such as Salvatore Accardo, Gidon Kremer and Leonidas Kavakos, the Premio Paganini turns again to young talents from all over the world and it is ready to crown a new winner.
30 are the candidates admitted to the Preliminary Stage (coming from Japan, China, Russia, South Korea, the United States, Germany, Latvia, Ukraine and Canada), 16 the Semifinalists, and 6 will be the Finalists.
To judge them will be a jury of international fame, composed of professionals recognized for their competence, integrity and fairness.
