MOG - Genoa’s Eastern Market (Mercato Orientale Genova)

MOG - Genoa’s Eastern Market (Mercato Orientale Genova)

A market of taste, almost 2 thousand square meters in the heart of the city.  A cultural center, a social hub that is inspired by the major European markets as La Boqueria in Barcelona, the Markthal in Rotterdam or the Ostermalms in Stockholm.
Territory, innovation but also great attention to the environment with compostable tableware that will be used. The MOG, a simple acronym for Mercato Orientale di Genova (Genoa's Eastern Market), is all of this. Positioned inside the colonnade, one of the Genoese symbols projects the visitor – with a lot of crystal domes that flood the whole structure with light - upwards. Enogastronomy linked to the territory and a research of raw materials of the highest quality with which starred chefs, along with the most important Genoese, can propose preparing dishes, desserts and showing labels of absolute level and zero kilometer.
The MOG has eleven food corners: a 50 places restaurant, a bar with a drink list of more than 100 products; and a multipurpose room for organizing events; will have a bakery school and the upper part of the Central Bar - a stage to all effects - designed to be walkable will be the pole, the nerve center, of the shows signed MOG.
