Oriental Art Museum E. Chiossone

Oriental Art Museum E. Chiossone
Designed by architect Mario Labò, this museum preserves and exhibits the rich heritage of Japanese and Chinese art collected in Japan by Edoardo Chiossone between 1875 and 1898: paintings, prints, weapons and armour, bronzes, lacquerware, ceramics, porcelain, costumes, and textiles, with approximately 2000 pieces on permanent display.

Due to their delicacy and fragility, Ukiyo-e paintings and prints by famous artists, such as Harunobu, Utamaro, Hiroshige, and Hokusai, are displayed during temporary exhibitions.

For information on prices and schedules, please visit the organisation's website.

WEATHER WARNING
In case of weather warning "RED" the museum will be closed to the public and all events will be cancelled.
