The Masterpieces of Museums of Strada Nuova
A guided tour through art and history of the Museums of Strada Nuova, the richly decorated Palazzo Rosso, Bianco and Tursi, part of the world Unesco Heritage. Since 1550 these were the palaces for the influential Genoese bankers, leaders in the European finance for over a century, the "Golden Age" of the city.
Now they house artworks in highly decorated rooms, including masterpieces by Veronese, Van Dyck, Caravaggio, Rubens, Canova and the great Nicolò Paganini's violin.
