Italy is well-known to be one of the cuddles of classic Music, the great Maestri left an indelible mark on the cultural development of Bel Paese, since Renaissance to the present day.

For this reason, Genova in Concerto offers every week a musical program with the most famous melodies of Italian opera and classical pieces written by the big Italian Composers: Vivialdi, Paganini, Donizetti, Puccini, Verdi and others, for a musical journey in the time, from the Baroque to the most recent compositions of the Twentieth Century.  

The Virtuosi della Commenda, which perform the program, are a group of excellence created ad-hoc for Genova in Concert, mainly formed by young and enthusiastic professionals.

Concerts take place every Friday and Saturday (except the Holy Week, when they will take place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5t April, and the last week of April/first week of May, when they will take place on Thursday 30th April and Saturday 2nd May), starting from the beginning of April until mid Octorber at 20.30 in the Inferior Church of San Giovanni di Pré.
