Rolli Days 2015. Palaces, Villas and Gardens
From May 30 to June 2 Genoa opens its Palazzi dei Rolli, (part of Unesco World Heritage Sites since 2006), for a special and longer edition of Rolli Days.
4 days of extraordinary openings of the wonderful Genoese historic palaces, built between the end of the Sixteenth and the Seventeenth Centuries by the patrician families of Genoa as their private residences.
25 palaces will open to the public during this year edition. For the first time it will be possible to visit Palazzo Giacomo Lomellini (Patrone), that is nowadays seat of the Regional Military Command, where visitors can admire the beautiful frescoes cycle of “Esther’s stories” by Domenico Fiasella.
In addition to the palaces, a selection of historic country dwellings, will available for visits. They belonged to the same patrician families of the Genoese aristocracy and they are situated on the west and on the east side of the historic centre of the city with a beautiful view on the sea.
During Rolli Days it will be possible to visit the West villas on May 30 and 31 and the East ones on June 1 and 2; Villa del Principe will open from May 30 to June 2.

Inside the palaces, students and researchers of the University for Fine Arts of Genoa will give to the visitors historic and artistic information about the dwellings.
A shuttle bus service will be available to reach the country dwellings.
