The exhibition shows the several “monstrous” aspects of the sea from the Middle Ages until nowadays; it has been realised thanks to the contribution and collaboration of Genoese libraries and museums, which have lent works, videos, books and artefacts. Within the framework of the exhibition, several side activities will be proposed: guided tours every Saturday afternoon, workshops for schools and families, a special Halloween Party (Saturday, October 31), the conference “ Sea monsters across the centuries” ( November 19 - Auditorium Museo di Storia Naturale).
