Italy celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of Edvard Munch, Norway’s most famous painter, with an important exhibition at Palazzo Ducale in Genoa.


Over 120 works, representing not only his artistic and existential path, but also the passage from Naturalism to a new way of painting that will influence the art of the 20th century.


Exhibition by Marc Restellini, director of the Pinacothèque de Paris.

Beside the main exhibition, “Warhol after Munch”, a first preview in Europe. On view some works by Andy Warhol, inspired to the artistic production of the Norwegian artist: the artist famous for its obscure feelings represented by the pop artist par excellence.

The exhibition is organized by the Municipality of Genoa and by Palazzo Ducale Fondazione per la Cultura and it is produced by Arthemisia Group e 24ORE Cultura – Gruppo 24 ORE.
