Circumnavigando International Theater and Circus Festival is a cultural event born in 2001 in the city of Genoa (Liguria - Italy).
The concept and the organization since the very beginning has been carried out by the Sarabanda Cultural Association, the artistic director is Boris Vecchio.
The Festival annually presents a list of events of international interest which range from the Contemporary Circus to the theater with shows, meetings and exhibitions.
The XVII edition features a significant subtitle, GROW UP!, a red thread which connect the whole program and inhance the inner aim of the Festival, GROWTH, a double face opportunity: for young companies who find their space here to present their projects and for the audience who year after year follow this experience in a multitude of city locations.

This year, Sarabanda will also launch a lot of important collaborations, in particular it will show significant previews throughout the month of December 2017:

 

7th and 9th od December 2017 at the Teatro dell ' Archivolto;
8th of December 2017 at the Akropolis Theater;

15th of December 2017 at the Teatro dell'Arca (Marassi Circondary House);

Right to the full edition, from the 26th of December 2017 to the 7th of January 2018 which will be held between the historical centre and Old Port, through theaters, historical buildings, squares and alleys and under the Circus Tent of the Mandraccio area.
The Festival will also include New Year's Eve event, which traditionally will see spectacle and celebrations under the Tendone.
