Museum of Risorgimento

This Museum, in the house where Giuseppe Mazzini was born, forms part of the Istituto Mazziniano, together with the archives and historical library, and contains documents and relics related to Mazzini and the Risorgimento, such as signatures, weapons, uniforms and flags.

The museum itinerary covers over 120 years of history from Balilla to the Young Italy movement and the Expedition of the Thousand, ending with two rooms containing objects and artefacts that once belonged to famous figures such as Garibaldi, Mameli and Bixio.
