Natural History Museum G. Doria
Founded in 1867, this museum is known throughout the international scientific community for its four million specimens from all over the world. Its prized scientific collections are mostly zoological but also include botanical, mineral, rock and fossil collections.
Worth special mention is the ornithological collection, mammal collection, extensive insect collections and the hall dedicated to Palaeontology.
