An original tour created on the occasion of the extraordinary “Rubens a Genova” exhibition, hosted at Palazzo Ducale from 6 October 2022 to 22 January 2023, produced by the Municipality of Genoa with Palazzo Ducale and Electa.
The guided tour, departing from the Tourist Information Office in via Garibaldi 12r, follows an itinerary intended to tell the story of the Superb and her extraordinary bond with Rubens. Through Rubens, his works and his sincere admiration for the noble Genoese palaces, it is possible to tell the story of the Republic of Genoa at the height of its power, that is the beginning of the seventeenth century, a period of great financial, cultural and artistic.
