The Final Competition of Genoa Pesto World Championship will be exclusively online due to the pandemic of Covid-19 and social distancing measures, on March 20, 2021 at Palazzo Ducale, Genoa.

The appointment with the very final of the Championship is scheduled for that date to allow the widest participation of competitors, supporters, journalists and experts of good culinary traditions, in particular to those who come from further away and want to breathe, after the health emergency, a little air of Genoa and the scent of basil.
The ranking of the participants in the final, initially prepared for March 2020, will be maintained if people confirm their intention to compete. Alternatively, the people who had already pre-registered will be entered, following the chronological order.

The Competiton will start at 10 am streaming live from Palazzo Ducale on Zoom (online platform) with the finalists. To all the contestants will be sent the products needed to prepare pesto, but also the traditional gadgets of the Championship.
The event in streaming begins at 10 am held in Palazzo Ducale, as all the other appointments of the Championship, and will end at 12 am.
Everyone has the chance to interact by connecting from computer or smartphone.
