Piazza della Vittoria takes a dip in the past! It's time to have fun living the magic of an evening all in the name of "Fab '70s, the fabulous 70s! The unmissable event is for Tuesday 27 June. Wear your old jeans (or those of mom, dad and grandparents!) strictly flared, earrings and colorful goggles and reach the central square where a concert awaits you all in the name of the decade that has made the history of music and fashion.
Guest star will be I Cugini di Campagna, icon of the Seventies in Italy, who will perform at 22. The band needs no introduction: fresh from participating in the last edition of the Sanremo Festival, they were born in 1970 and, three years later, immediately obtained a great success with their cult song: "Anima mia". Raise your hand if you have never tried to sing it in falsetto! Other successes followed, from "E' lei" to "Dentro l'anima", "Un'altra donna", "Metallo" and "Solo con te".
Despite the passing of the years and some changes within the group, the Cugini di Campagna, with their unmistakable look made of long hair and bright clothes, have been able to return several times to the musical and media limelight, aiming at their long career with the performance at the Sanremo Festival 2023 with the song "Lettera 22".
In addition to the twins Silvano and Ivano Michetti, founders of the band, here is the unmistakable voice of Nick Luciani. Silvano Michetti will be the usual rhythmic engine behind the drums, while Tiziano Leonardi, keyboardist with uncommon technique, is the perfect "partner in crime" of Daniel and Ivano in modulating the irresistible vocal mixtures.
At the opening, at 20.30, the performance of "U-Boot 70", a group born in the early 90s, animator of dozens of evenings of the most unbridled disco music. Not a cover band, but a vintage band, born for pure fun that can not stop playing and that, in the 90s, was disputed by the main clubs of Liguria. The band presents itself today with a renewed line-up, without losing sight of the goal that has guided it all these years: the involvement of the public, the first actor of evenings made of fun and wild dances. They will do it again on June 29th in Genoa, for a truly unmissable evening!
