Strada Nuova Museums - Palazzo Bianco

Housing an important collection of European, Italian and Genoese paintings from the 16th to 18th centuries: alongside exquisite masterpieces from Italian (Caravaggio, Veronese), Flemish (Hans Memling, Gerard David, Jean Provost, Rubens, Van Dyck), Dutch (Steen), French (Vouet, Lancret), and Spanish (Zurbaran, Murillo) painters, a vast collection of Genoese paintings from the 16th to 18th centuries (Magnasco, Cambiaso, Strozzi, Piola) takes centre stage.

The sculpture of the Penitent Magdalene, by Canova, concludes the exhibition route of Palazzo Bianco's prestigious art gallery, set in a striking dedicated spot within Palazzo Doria Tursi.
