Road access: extraordinary measures from November 26th
From this morning the use of the entire public transportation AMT and ATP network will be available to passengers for free until the end of the emergency state
Due to the state of extreme emergency of the urban and metropolitan road access, the Mayor of Genoa, Marco Bucci, invites citizens and tourists to use public transportation except in cases of absolute necessity.
Fom 8 am of November 26th, it has been ordered that the entire urban AMT network (subway, buses, elevators and funiculars, navebus, with only exception of the commercial service Volabus) will be available to passegngers for free until the end of the state of emergency. There will be an increase of subway rides: there will be one every 5 minutes during rush hours and one every 7 minutes during the rest of the day. The following bus lines, which cross the itinerary of the subway, will be increased: line 1 for the west part of the city, 7 and 8 for the Polcevera Valley, 13 and 14 for the Bisagno Valley, 17 for the east part of the city.
It will also be available for free until the end of the state of emergency the ATP service for the Stura Valley.
Arriving in Genoa: from noon the road access to the A26 motoway will be reopened entro le 12.00 riapre circolazione su tratta A26, one lane for each direction of travel
Genoa, November 26th, 2019. At noon the road traffic on the A26 motorway will be available again on both directions of travel. During the night Autostrade per l’Italia created a road construction site, which grants the road traffic on one lane for each direction of travel.
