Dpcm 198 - march 8th, 2020: museums and attractions are closed

We inform you that, following the Dpcm 198 – march 8th, 2020, the Municipality of Genoa has decided for the closure of museums, cultural centres and touristic attractions.

 

- The Acquario di Genova, the Biosfera and the Bigo are closed;

 

- All the city museums are closed and all the events are cancelled; 

 

- Even Palazzo Ducale is closed and all its exhibitions, conferences and events are suspended; 

 

- All Tourist Information Offices in the city of Genoa are closed until further notice, in accordance with national measures of containment of COVID-19. Information is available from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday-Friday by phone (+39) 010 5572903 or mail info@visitgenoa.it .

 

- The guided tours "Genova walking tour" and "Le splendide dimore genovesi del ‘500" are suspended;

 

- All public or private events are suspended, including cultural, recreational, religious and fair events, but also sports even if they are held indoors but open to the public
 
- All open-air markets operating in the Municipality of Genoa are suspended.
 

- Prohibition of access to all public green areas of the territory, prohibition of transit and stay in places overlooking the shoreline (such as beaches, cliffs, all walks overlooking the sea including Corso Italia sea side and Boccadasse, the beaches), until 12 PM on Monday, April 13.
