With 3 prèmiere and a national preview the International Ballet and Music Festival – Nervi 2020 recovers the high profile, that belonged to the festival history, born in 1955 and considered one of the most important festival of the postwar.
The opening will take place on July 17, in the suggestive frame of the Parks of Nervi, with the prèmiere
Duets and Solos, a show with international étoiles performing in solos and dance for two, accompanied by live music played by two important artists: the cellist Mario Brunello and the pianist Beatrice Rana.
The performance respects the covid regulations: the duets will be performed by dancers who are a couple in life. The show is organized in collaboration with the Ravenna Festival.
On July 29 the other prèmiere, Love, with Eleonora Abbagnato, etoile of the Opéra in Paris and icon of the classical ballet. Director and choreographer of the show is Giuliano Paparini, one of the most renowned choreographer of the moment.
On August 1 Le Creature di Prometeo/Le creature di Capucci a national preview that will make his debut at the Festival of Spoleto on August 28, a stage-choreographoic action on the only score for ballet composed by Beethoven, a homage to the 250° birth anniversary of the big compositor, with costumes by the stylist Roberto Capucci.
On August 2, the third première, a new production of Werther, melologue of Gaetano Pugnani, Italian composer of the second half of the 18th Century, on the masterpiece of Goethe.
The other seven events will cover different genres, characterized by two common values: the high quality of the interpreters and the unique location of the Parks of Nervi.

July 19 – the Genoese singer and guitarist Beppe Gambetta will perform for the first time live his last CD Where the wind blows/Dove tia o vento
July 21- the greatly appreciated Italian songwriter Roberto Vecchioni in his L’infitito Tour
July 22 – jazz improvisation with Tullio De Piscopo (drums), Aldo Zunino (contrabass), Dado Moroni (pianist)
July 23 – special evening, homage to one of the most original Italian artists: Arturo Racconta Bracchetti, a sort of talk-show where the Word Master of quick change tells the public about his life, show, all with tricks and illusions
July 24 – the pianist-composer Giovanni Allevi in cocert Piano Solo
July 26 – Fabio Armiliato, one of the most important tenor of his generation, will perform Recital CanTango
Tickets are sold at the ticket office of Carlo Felice di Genova starting from June 25, from Tuesday to Friday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and online on Vivaticket, Ticketone and Happyticket.
The ticket office at the Parks of Nervi will be open form 8 p.m. up to 15 minutes after the beginning of the show in the evenings of the Festival. The shows will start at 9.15 p.m.
